Privacy

There are no accounts, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts on this site. This page describes the little that is collected and why.

What stays in your browser

Four things are stored locally and never sent anywhere. You can clear them at any time through your browser’s site-data settings.

  • promptsaxis-appearance — whether you chose light, dark or system.
  • promptsaxis-favorites — the prompts you saved, which is why /saved works without signing in.
  • promptsaxis-recent-searches — your last few searches, shown in the search dialog.
  • promptsaxis:vars:* — the variable values you typed on a prompt page, in session storage, so a reload does not lose your edits. Cleared when you close the tab.

What is recorded on the server

When a prompt is viewed, copied, or opened in a generator, one row is written recording which prompt, which action, which generator, and the referring page. This is what produces the view and launch counts on the cards.

Each row carries a session identifier that is a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string and a salt that rotates every day. The raw IP address is never stored. Because the salt rotates, the same visitor is not linkable across days even in principle.

These rows are deleted automatically after 90 days. Only the aggregate counters survive beyond that.

What is not collected

  • No name, email address or account — there is nothing to sign up for.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers, and no third-party pixels.
  • No raw IP addresses in any table.
  • No record of what you type into a prompt’s variables. Compiling happens in your browser; the values never reach the server.

When you leave for a generator

Opening a prompt in OpenArt, Hedra, ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, ChatGPT, Grok or Meta AI sends you to that company’s site with the compiled prompt in the URL. From that point their privacy policy governs, not this one. Some of those links carry a partner parameter — see the terms.

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel and its data and images are stored with Supabase. Both process request logs as part of delivering the service.

Changes

If what is collected changes, this page changes with it. It describes the current behaviour of the site and is kept in the same repository as the code that implements it.
